Thirty (30) integrity managers from Basic, Higher, Special Prosecutors’ offices throughout Montenegro and Supreme State Prosecution took part in training on development and updating of integrity plans, organized on 19-20 March 2019, through EU/CoE HF Action against Economic Crime in Montenegro AEC-MNE in Petrovac, Montenegro.
The aim of the training was to strengthen capacities of integrity managers assigned to each prosecutors office for identification and management of integrity risks and development of mitigation measures. Through series of practical exercises, participants have assessed integrity of their respective institutions, determined risk factors and created risk maps. Based on identified risks, participants have developed mitigation measures and created action plans for their implementation. Finally, participants were introduced to a new web application, developed by the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, for management of integrity plans and trained to use it in their everyday work. This activity is being organized under the CoE/EU Horizontal Facility Programme for the Western Balkans and Turkey, and is one of the efforts taken in supporting fight against corruption in Montenegro.
