Global Education Week
16 to 22 November 2026
Global Education helps learners to develop individual and collective responses to social, ecological, political, economic, and ethical issues of common concern. It mobilises commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and in particular SDG 4.7: Education for sustainable development and global citizenship.
The Global Education Week is part of iLEGEND III: Intercultural Learning Exchange through Global Education, Networking and Dialogue, joint project of the European Union and the Council of Europe: co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe. The campaign is implemented in participating countries by the Global Education Network.
As every year, this week will inspire widespread mobilisation in favour of quality education, bringing together thousands of activities across Europe and beyond under the theme “My Voice, Our Action, A Common Future”.
The 2026 annual theme explores the 5 five pillars of the 2030 Agenda: People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace and Partnership.

Whether you join an existing event or organise your own activity, your participation will help raise awareness about Global Education and its role in creating the change you want to see in the world.
