Located near the heart of Yerevan on the slopes of Nork-Marash, the Amanoo project has transformed a once barren, dry terrain into a thriving green landscape. Over 1,100 trees have been planted, creating a harmonious coexistence between nature and contemporary urban living. Amanoo is envisioned as a community built around core values: environmental stewardship, collective well-being, and a lifestyle aligned with nature.
The area, previously devoid of vegetation, required extensive ecological restoration to balance construction with environmental recovery. The landscape concept draws inspiration from biomimicry, particularly the natural geometry of ivy leaves. The main circulation axis mirrors the nutrient-giving stem of ivy, translated into the master plan as a water-like river form. Elements of earth, water, air, and fire—representing natural harmony—have been integrated throughout the district. This approach ensures a sustainable, resilient, and human-centered living environment that enriches both the natural and urban fabric of Yerevan.
