The Human Rights Legal Clinic in Sarajevo was finalised on 20 December 2019 with a moot court competition. The Clinic was attended by students from the Law Faculty of the University of Sarajevo as an extracurricular activity during the winter semester of the academic year 2019/2020.
Students spent a semester learning about the European Convention on Human Rights system, carried out research, drafted submissions and practiced oral arguments. The Clinic aimed at giving law students, future legal professionals, practical experience on application of the standards of the Convention and the methodology of the interpretation of case law of the European Court of Human Rights.
The Human Rights Clinic is part of the project “Initiative for Legal Certainty and Efficient Judiciary in Bosnia and Herzegovina”. The project is made possible thanks to the voluntary contribution of the Government of Norway.
