Strengthening ICT Capacities in Public Prosecutor’s Offices

A two-day training on “Strengthening ICT Capacities in Public Prosecutor’s Offices” took place on 24–25 November 2025 in Zlatibor, organised within the joint EU and Council of Europe project “Support for the Implementation of Judicial Reform in Serbia” and in co-operation with the High Prosecutorial Council. Bringing together around 70 ICT staff from across Serbia, the event built on last year’s successful initiative and further supported the professional development of ICT teams in the prosecutorial system.

The programme addressed key areas including information security risks, cyber-incident response planning, hardware modernisation, network upgrades, and effective internal communication. A substantial part of the training focused on peer exchange, enabling participants to discuss best practices, common technical challenges, and practical solutions.

The event reaffirmed the commitment to building a more efficient, secure, and modern ICT environment in public prosecutor’s offices, recognising it as a very important precondition for an effective, transparent, and accountable prosecution service.
