Analytical Workshop focusing on the case law of the European Court and execution of its judgments was held for the analytical staff of the Georgian courts.
The primary goal of the workshop was to enhance the capabilities of Georgian courts to apply the European Court case-law and effectively execute the judgments rendered by the European Court against Georgia.
To achieve this, representatives from the European Court and the Department for the Execution of Judgments presented the case processing at the European Court as well as the supervision process for the execution of its judgments, including the cases concerning Georgia. Participants also enhanced their knowledge through a detailed analysis of available research materials and tools related to the European Court and its judgments. Additionally, the structure and functions of analytical units, as demonstrated by the Slovenian example, were discussed.
The event was organized within the framework of the project "Reinforcing National Execution of the European Court's Judgments by Georgia."
