On 26 November 2025, the international conference “HELP in University Education: Promoting European Human Rights Standards for Future Professionals” will take place in Lviv, Ukraine and will be broadcasted online.

The event will focus on supporting universities and professors in advancing human rights education and integrating the Council of Europe HELP Programme into university curricula.

Expert panels will focus on:

• • strengthening academic cooperation through Council of Europe HELP and OCEAN Programmes;
  • use of HELP by professors and national training institutions;
  • challenges to promoting rule of law, democracy and human rights.

The Conference is organised by Lviv University of Trade and  Economics, supported by “HELP for Ukraine including during wartime” project, “Support to the functioning of justice in the war and post-war context in Ukraine” project, HELP in Universities network and OCEAN.
