Montenegrins participated in debating academic integrity in Belgrade

A nine-member delegation of Montenegrin higher education professionals participated at the conference “Strengthening a culture of academic integrity: challenges and solutions” which took place on 8 December in Belgrade.

The participants learnt from international experience on how to further develop a culture of integrity in the classroom and practical approaches in improving integrity. The participants also shared country experiences on various topics of ethics in higher education. The conference builds on the similar event that took place in Becici, Montenegro in May 2017. In addition to a national approach, the Horizontal Facility as a regional initiative provides an opportunity for Montenegrin students and teachers to attend events in the region and exchange experiences and practices with their peers.

The participation of the Montenegrin delegation is supported by the Council of Europe/European Union Horizontal Facility Action “Strengthen integrity and combat corruption in higher education”.
