Conference on “Advancing the Human Rights of Intersex People” in Strasbourg (and online) on 26 January 2023, 13:00-18:00 CET.

The conference will launch the work of the Council of Europe Committee on Anti-Discrimination, Diversity and Inclusion (CDADI), through its Working Group on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics (GT-ADI-SOGI), on the drafting of a Council of Europe Recommendation on the equality of rights of intersex persons by 2025, as mandated by the Committee of Ministers. It will also seek to raise awareness of the situation of intersex people in Europe and to share the most recent legal and policy best practices.
