City of Vienna - Good practices on local LGBT policy.
Compendium of legislation and policies
This compendium brings together national resources from Council of Europe member states pertaining to sexual orientation and gender identity. With a specific focus on both legislation and policy, this compendium will aggregate:
- legislation, whether draft or final;
- national action plans and strategies, either general or relating to a particular field (e.g. education, youth);
- Parliament resolutions;
- best practices compilations;
- national jurisprudence;
- publications such as toolkits or guidance documents;
- others resources of relevance.
The compendium is an open platform designed to aggregate information which will facilitate exchanges, research and understanding of national policies on SOGI. The resources made available will continuously be updated, relying on the submissions to the compendium, and contribute to a better understanding of LGBTI equality in Europe.
Who contributes: policy-makers, legislators, public servants, governmental agents, international organisations, NGOs, stakeholders working or interested on SOGI.
How the process works: the documents are submitted to the SOGI Unit, who will be responsible for the approval of the submission and categorisation before making them public. After this process, the documents will be available for download in the compendium.
