ERIAC Board meeting:  major new steps taken to further enhance Roma arts and culture in Europe

At the XII Board Meeting of the European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture (ERIAC) on 4 December in Berlin, Germany, Council of Europe Deputy Secretary General Bjørn Berge emphasised that “the work of ERIAC, its results and visibility continue to be essential for promoting Roma inclusion, combating antigypsyism, and for highlighting and promoting Roma arts and culture.”

Several achievements from this year were presented to the Board, including the Barvalo exhibition from MUCEM, Marseille, which was recently awarded the Historia Prize for the best museum exhibition of 2023.

The Deputy Secretary General underlined the Council of Europe´s strong ongoing support and the importance of the partnership with ERIAC.
