OCEAN: The Open Council of Europe Academic Networks aim at sharing and creating knowledge around the Council of Europe´s more than 200 conventions in European academia through teaching and research.

HELP: The Council of Europe Programme on Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP) develops and implements online courses on human rights for legal and other (justice) professionals.

Council of Europe Higher Education and Research: The Department of Education, through its four-year programme of activities and the Steering Committee on Education (CDEDU), supports Member States in developing their policies, legislation and practices with a view to promoting democratic, quality, inclusive and corruption-free education systems, taking into account the Council of Europe's legal and policy instruments, guidelines, tools and resources.

Membership in OCEAN brings benefits for its members, however, the CoE does not recognize or certify Higher Educations Institutions.
