Back Reinforced cooperation with the Belgrade Law Faculty

50 Law students of the Belgrade Law Faculty attented a lecture on "the shared responsibiliy between the Council of Europe and its member states in the implementation of human rights" delivered by Tatiana Termacic, Head of the Human Rights National Implementation Divison, in the framework of the project "Human Rights Friendly Judiciary".

The lecture was organised on the occasion of the gift of more than 150 books on human rights to the Law Faculty and its Human Rights Centre received by the Dean, Sima Avramovic.

This is an additionnal step towards the introduction of a compulsory course on the ECHR for all Law students. So far, It is only thought as a facultative course in international Law. The objective is to ensure in the longer term the full transversal introduction of human rights in all Law subjects.

The project is funded by the Human Rights Trust Fund.
