Back Online tools for evaluation of training activities available to Judicial Training Institutes in the Western Balkans

In the process of improving the capacities of the training institutions in the Western Balkans to better assess the impact of human rights trainings through development of tools and methodology, a practical online training was organised on 20 April 2022. The capacity building activity on online tools available for evaluation of training activities brought together the staff and lectures of the Judicial Training Institutes from the region. The activity, supported by the joint EU and Council of Europe Horizontal Facility II programme, aimed to provide to Judicial Training Institutes in the Western Balkan region with new ideas on how to conduct training evaluation in a low-cost and user-friendly way, and to discuss various types of online tools available for conducting training feedback surveys and evaluation.

The following tools were presented by Ivana Roagna, the Council of Europe expert and the author of the Methodology for Evaluation of Human Rights Training:

  • Training Check for collecting feedback, analysis and reporting
  • Mentimeter for collecting different type of reactions/feedback information through (e.g., quiz and polls)
  • SurveyMonkey for conducting online surveys
  • Kahoot for conducting quiz and polls

The training was organised within the action "Judicial training institutes for Quality and Sustainability", which is a part of the joint European Union and Council of Europe programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022”.
