In the report following her visit to Albania from 21 to 25 May 2018, the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights expresses her concerns with regard to the negative impact of domestic violence on children. The Commissioner supports the GREVIO conclusion that the authorities should take the necessary measures to ensure that in all cases where a protection order is issued for victims of domestic violence, the situation of child witnesses is systematically examined, in close co-operation with the expert psychologist competent to examine the case.
