On 22 March, the Execution Department organised an online meeting with representatives from the Norwegian Attorney General’s Office, the Ministry of Families and Children and the Deputy from the Norwegian Permanent Representation to the Council of Europe.

The meeting focused on  outstanding issues and domestic developments in the Strand Lobben group of cases, concerning biological parents’ right to respect for their family life, in advance of the submission of Norway’s next action plan and the next examination by the Committee of Ministers planned later in 2022.
