On 17 September 2019 the HELP course on Internal Displacement was launched for a group of Ukrainian judges, in cooperation with the National School of Justice (NSJ) of Ukraine. 

This course launch is a part of a series of launches organised under the Council of Europe Project "Internal Displacement in Ukraine: Building Solutions". Seven groups of legal professionals will benefit from the course in the period of August-November 2019. In addition, it is expected that during the Project implementation period, the course will be launched for a total of 12 groups. The tutors for all of the groups were previously trained during a training-of-trainers session which took place in May 2019. 

The launching event was opened by Nataliia Shuklina, vice-rector of the NSJ and Ganna Khrystova, Senior Project Officer, Council of Europe. Following the HELP presentation provided by Ana Medarska-Lazova from the HELP Secretariat, participants benefitted from presentation from Nataliia Shuklina and Halyna Yurovska, Deputy Chief of the department of the Training-for-Trainers (NSJ) and national consultant of the Project, on the European standards and key national challenges in respect of rights of internally displaced persons in Ukraine. Last but not least, the course participants were presented the national adaptation materials and were provided details on the course implementation by the two course tutors of this particular group, Alla Fedorova and Kostiantyn Shalota. 

The HELP course on Internal Displacement was launched on the HELP online e-learning platform in English in 2018.

It consists of the following modules:

3. International and European Legal Framework
4. Protection of Property and Home under the European Convention on Human Rights
5. Other Frequently Invoked European Convention on Human Rights
6. Protection of Social Rights
