Back HELP Trainers Conference in the Russian Federation

The Conference of HELP Trainers organised in the framework of the Project "HELP in Russia”, took place on 26-27 May 2016 in the Moscow Region of the Russian Federation. The purpose was to complete the training of participants of the First and Second Trainer-of-Trainers Seminars, which were conducted on 7-10 October 2015 and 3-7 February 2016, respectively.

The Conference gathered 39 participants representing the National Training Institutions, in particular the Russian State University of Justice, Academy of the General Prosecutor’s Office, Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law at the Government of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Justice, Centres of Continuous Training of Advocates and State universities from seven regions of the country. The lively discussions, master classes, workshops, as well as lectures on serious questions of criminal procedure and constitutional law, further enhanced skills and expertise of this group of law practitioners and strengthened professional ties between them. 37 participants were successfully certified and are now fully prepared to launch and conduct the HELP courses at the national level.
