Now Available: HELP course on Labour Rights

Developed thanks to a joint EU-Council of Europe Programme, the ‘HELP’ free on-line course on Labour Rights gives you the opportunity to explore key aspects of labour rights. This course will offer you a comprehensive curriculum covering the key concepts, the legal framework of the Council of Europe and the European Union. The course also includes the case law of the two main European Courts, based in Strasbourg and Luxembourg, as well as the decisions and conclusions of the European Committee of Social Rights.

The Labour Rights Course consists of seven substantive modules:

  1. Right to work and employment relationship
  2. Working time
  3. Fair remuneration and protection of wages
  4. Termination of employment
  5. Equality and non-discrimination
  6. Collective labour rights on all levels
  7. Occupational safety and health

This free on-line course is primarily addressed to legal professionals but it is also useful for national labour authorities and other labour rights’ experts. After successful completion of the course, you will be entitled to print a ‘statement of accomplishment’ from the "HELP in the 28" Programme. The course will be available in Greek, Lithuanian, Portuguese and Slovenian from April 2017.
