The 47th Plenary meeting of the Committee of Convention 108 (T-PD) took place from 4 to 6 November 2024 in Strasbourg.
The Committee held an exchange of views on the draft Guidelines in context of neurosciences with the experts Marcello Ienca (Technical University of Munich) and Eduardo Bertoni (American University Washington College of Law) and on transborder data flows of personal data and the use of Model Contractual Clauses with the expert Eduardo Ustaran (Hogan Lovells). The Committee discussed the state of play of the implementation of the work programme 2022 – 2025 and decided to start to work on privacy and data protection considerations in federated machine learning and Large Language Models (LLMs) as the next topic.
The Committee held elections for the Bureau. The composition of the new Bureau is as follows:
