PGG II

Partnership for Good Governance (PGG) is a regional programme for the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries with an implementation period of 2019-2021. The programme is organised around interventions to support the alignment of the national legislation and practice with European standards according to the individual needs of the EaP countries, with an ambition to increase the region’s stabilisation and resilience and, more specifically to achieve the 2020 targets set in the EaP deliverables. Activities implemented under the current PGG represent the continuation of technical assistance provided to the EaP countries within the first phase of the programme (2015-2018).

The thematic area of fighting against corruption, money-laundering and terrorist financing is one of the components within the overall PGG framework, and consists of a regional and five bi-lateral projects for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine.
