The joint Council of Europe – European Union project “Strengthening National Child Participation Frameworks and Action in Europe” (CP4Europe) aims to strengthen child participation mechanisms and practice across Europe at national and local levels. Launched on 1 April 2021, the project runs until 30 June 2023, and is implemented by the Council of Europe Children’s Rights Division in co-operation with 5 partner countries: the Czech Republic, Finland, Iceland, Portugal and Slovenia. The project supports national assessments of child participation mechanisms and practice. Moreover, it foresees the establishment of a “Child Participation Leadership Network”, and in particular a web-platform, aimed at connecting all project partners to benefit from mutual peer support regarding the challenges of child participation in various settings.
In this context, the Council of Europe is looking for a Provider to design and develop a web-platform on child participation. The web-platform should provide access to resources such as guidelines, training material, videos on children’s participation that were developed by the Council of Europe during the CP4Europe project. Moreover, an access to new resources developed during the project, including lessons learned, good practices around child participation, checklists and training materials should be included. The web-platform should be accessible in English, as specified in the attached Tender File and Act of Engagement.
