Determining and evaluating the best interests and rights of children in parental separation and care proceedings

CINGO Civil Society Committee on the Rights of the Child is organising a free webinar session with experts and thought leaders across Europe to explore perspectives and best practices for determining and evaluating the best interests and rights of children in parental separation and care proceedings. The event will offer the opportunity for live online discussion to take place on Tuesday, 21 June 2022 (9:30-12:30 CET). The webinar will be in English.

Mr Seamus Caroll, Chair of the Committee of Experts on the Rights and the Best interests of the Child in Parental Separation and in Care Proceedings (CJ/ENF-ISE) will present the Committee’s objectives regarding how the best interests of the child and their rights are protected by law, policy and practice in situations of parental separation and care proceedings.

The event will be divided in six parallel workshops and two concluding panel discussions. More information on the webinar is available here.
