Every year the Comrat Court of Appeal celebrates the European Day of Justice on October 25 and holds public events - Open Doors Day.
On October 21, 2024 the students of the Faculty of Law of Comrat State University visited the Comrat Court of Appeal, where they had the opportunity to learn how the judicial system works in the Republic of Moldova.

Educational training for public on how to defend human rights
The Bălți first instance court in cooperation with other justice sector stakeholders (Prosecutor General Office, Regional Bar Bălți, National Probation Inspectorate, Bălți Police Inspectorate) has organised an educational training for public on how to defend human rights both in court and outside it.

"Access to legal knowledge and the perspectives of the profession of judge and prosecutor in the context of European integration"
Public event for Moldovan Law Faculties students and master's students to celebrate the European Day of Justice, on topic"Access to legal knowledge and the perspectives of the profession of judge and prosecutor in the context of European integration".
The interim director of the National Institute of Justice, Adrian Cerbu, spoke to the students about his professional career and the role of the institution he leads in the training of judges and prosecutors. Also, together with Roman Porubin, prosecutor delegated in the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office, they shared their experiences including as graduate students of the National Institute of Justice.
A special emphasis was placed on the European dimension of judicial training, through a presentation, by the head of the Training and Research Directorate, Ecaterina Popa, the head of the Legal Information Center, Tatiana Ciaglic, and the head of the e-training Division, Tatiana Brumă, of the HELP program in Republic of Moldova, as well as the educational resources of the Council of Europe and the National Institute of Justice.
In addition, students had the opportunity to access three electronic courses developed by the HELP Program and institutionalized by the NIJ: "Introduction to the system of the European Convention on Human Rights and the European Court of Human Rights", "Electronic course in the field of anti-discrimination" and "Hate Speech". The event ended with a tour of the NIJ building, to show the most representative study halls, which form a concrete picture of the environment in which the training of future judges and prosecutors takes place.
Open doors day at the Chișinău first instance court
It was organized for several groups of students.
It included court tours (hearing rooms, chancellery, archiving department), discussions with court staff and judges (questions and answers session), presentations on court activity, justice reform, profession of judge, on how to become a judge, on how to access useful information about court hearings, court decisions available on the National Courts Web Portal and on how to make use of court info points, etc.
