The Council of Europe Convention for the Protection of the Profession of Lawyer, approved by the CDCJ in November 2024 and adopted by the Committee of Ministers in March 2025, was opened for signature on 13 May 2025 during the 134th session of the Committee of Ministers in Luxembourg. It was signed, on 13 May, by Andorra, Estonia, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland and Sweden, and, on 14 May, by Belgium, Iceland, the Republic of Moldova and the United Kingdom.
