Secretariat

The secretariat prepares and organises the meetings of the Gender Equality Commission. The secretariat's duties are not confined to practical and administrative activities - they also include assistance in designing the commission's programme, co-ordinating and participating in the commission's work.

The secretariat is also responsible for implementing the programme of co-operation activities in the field of equality between women and men.
