The Principality of Monaco funds Council of Europe action plans and projects

In the framework of their upcoming Presidency of the Committee of Ministers, the Principality of Monaco made a voluntary contribution of €500 000 towards Council of Europe action plans and projects that support the priorities of their Presidency. Monaco’s contribution supports the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine “Resilience, Recovery and Reconstruction” 2023-2026, the Council of Europe Action Plan for the Republic of Moldova 2025-2028, the Council of Europe Neighbourhood Partnerships with Morocco and Tunisia 2022-2025 and their successor Neighbourhood Partnerships, combatting violence against women and domestic violence in Morocco and Tunisia, the Council of Europe Action Plan on Protecting Vulnerable Persons in the Context of Migration and Asylum in Europe 2021-2025, the project “Start to Talk - protecting the present, protecting the future”, the Bern Convention, as well as to reduce the backlog of well-founded cases and the backlog of outstanding unexecuted leading judgments of the European Court of Human Rights.
 
Ms Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Acting Minister of State, Government Counsellor-Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Principality of Monaco, met with Mr Alain Berset, Secretary General, on this occasion.
