The leaflet on free legal aid services in Montenegro in Albanian language was developed and is being distributed with the aim to inform the wider public on the availability of free legal services to the victims of domestic violence.

The informative material (leaflets) was developed under the auspices of the awareness raising campaign #TellTheWholeStory and contains contact details of the Free Legal Aid Offices in Montenegro. Wide distribution of leaflets will ensure easy access to legal services to the minority groups, particularly victims of domestic violence.

Even though victims of domestic violence are entitled to the legal aid regardless of their financial status, they rarely use this mechanism of support. The campaign #TellTheWholeStory was designed to contribute towards greater awareness on the existing mechanisms of support and protection available for the victims of domestic violence.

The campaign had been implemented within the action "Improved procedural safeguards in judicial proceedings in Montenegro", which is a part of the joint European Union and Council of Europe programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022”.
