GRECO has today made public its Fifth Round First Compliance report on Italy, setting out an assessment of the progress made by Italy in implementing GRECO’s recommendations to prevent corruption and promote integrity in central government (top executive functions) and law enforcement agencies. The report was adopted by GRECO at its 103rd Plenary Meeting, held in Strasbourg from 8-12 June 2026.
Italy is expect to submit a report to GRECO on the implementation of the outstanding recommendations by 31 December 2027.
