On 20 November, the Execution Department took part in a high-level conference, organised by the Council of Europe in the context of its activities of cooperation with Ukraine, on “Ensuring the uniformity of judicial practice: Legal views of the Supreme Court and standards of the Council of Europe”.
The department’s representative made a presentation on the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights as guiding principles for the establishment of consistent and coherent case-law by national courts, and on the significance of the prompt and effective execution of the European Court’s judgments, including those concerning Ukraine.
