7 workshops were organised within the framework of the European Union/Council of Europe Joint Programme on “Consolidating Ethics in the Public Sector in Turkey” (TYEC2) in Ankara on 24-27 February 2014. At the workshops findings of TYEC1 research studies and developing draft action plans to implement recommendations from the studies. The discuss research studies concerned the following subjects: Ethics in Planning / Local Governments; Ethics in Health Services; Ethics, Culture and Society; Ethics in Law Enforcement; Ethics in Customs Services; Public Procurement and Ethics; Shadow Economy. The participants of the workshops included the Council of Ethics and relevant public institutions. The workshops provided an opportunity to define the options for the relevant public institutions/Ministries to address recommendations of the research studies through developing action plans. Draft action plans will be finalised in March 2014.
