Plenary meetings and High level Conference on Kosovo's compliance with AC and AML/CFT standards

The Project against Economic Crime in Kosovo* (PECK II) is organising two Plenary Meetings on Kosovo’s compliance with European and international standards on Anti-Corruption (AC) and Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) on 14-16 November 2018, in Pristina, Kosovo.

The assessment process undertaken by PECK II follows a well-established methodology of the Council of Europe GRECO and MONEYVAL/FATF, and includes a peer review provided through expertise of Council of Europe experts, adapted where necessary to take account of specific domestic needs.
The Plenary meetings are followed by the High level Conference co-organised by the European Union Office in Kosovo/EU Special Representative and the Council of Europe.
The Conference presents to a wide range of high-level domestic and international stakeholders, civil society and media the assessment results of Kosovo’s compliance with European and international standards in the areas of anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism.
The findings of the assessment reports form a key part of Kosovo’s EU integration agenda, and their recommendations will help the Kosovo institutions to make further progress in implementing the necessary reforms.
