Electoral assistance: projects
The Parliamentary and Electoral Cooperation Division (Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe) provides expert advice and technical assistance to the member States on various aspects of elections.
In particular, the Electoral Cooperation implements electoral cooperation programmes aimed at:
- building capacities for election management bodies, centres for continuous training of election commissioners, domestic observers, judges, the media, etc.;
- awareness raising among election stakeholders, in particular women, youth and first-time voters, minorities and non-governmental organisations.
