Information sur l'événement

The first edition of the “Gender-based violence and criminal justice” Summer School will take place from September 14 to 16, 2026. This initiative aims to foster reflection on issues surrounding the criminalisation of gender-based violence through an interdisciplinary perspective. For this inaugural edition, the course will focus on sexual offenses, and more particularly reflect on the rationale and implications of redefining the crime of sexual violence in a manner consistent with a consent-based model.

The Summer School program will alternate between training sessions led by professors from universities in Italy and abroad and shorter presentations delivered by early-career scholars. The event will take place in person to maximize opportunities for exchange and dialogue among all participants. To ensure the best possible experience, participation is limited to 30 people, and registration closes on September 7.

The event’s flyer can be found here.
