The Action “Supporting the effective domestic remedies and facilitating the execution of judgments” continues developing the capacity of Albanian judicial authorities to correctly apply the case law of the European Court of Human Rights (the Court) on property rights and to effectively implement the Law no. 133/2015 “On the treatment of property and finalisation of the process of compensation of property”.

As part of this initiative, a regional training on property rights was organised in Korçë on 31 May – 1 June 2018 in close co-operation with the State Advocate’s Office and the School of Magistrates. The event was attended by twenty judges, five prosecutors, three lawyers from State Advocate’s Office and presented a valuable opportunity for participants to discuss the practical implementation of the existing legislation and to further strengthen their knowledge on application of the relevant case-law of the Court.
