The Bureau of the Consultative Committee of Convention 108 held its 58th meeting in Paris on 22, 23 and 24 March 2023. It pursued its works in respect of data protection for the processing of personal data for anti-money laundering/countering financing of terrorism purposes, on updating the model contractual clauses for the transfer of personal data and on the interpretation of Article 11 of the modernised Convention. It continued the implementation of its work plan for 2022-2025 by starting reflexion for future Guidelines on data Protection, including biometrics, within in the framework of vote and elections, following decisions taken at its last meeting.
