The 48th Bureau meeting of the Committee of Convention 108 starts this Wednesday 25 September 2019. The meeting will be held in Paris until Friday 27 September and will gather over 30 data protection experts.

Participants will discuss topical issues that have been identified by the Committee of the Convention as priority topics, such as facial recognition, personal data processed in the context of educational systems, profiling and the evaluation and follow up mechanism under Convention 108+.

The Bureau will also set the draft agenda of the 39th plenary meeting to be held in Strasbourg from 19 to 21 November 2019.
