Dave SINARDET, Prof. Dr., Professor of Political Science, Free University of Brussels, Belgium

Dave Sinardet is a Professor of Political Science at the Free University of Brussels (VUB) and UCLouvain. He published in numerous social science journals and books on themes such as multi level governance, (sub state) nationalism, political communication and Belgian politics. Sinardet is one of Belgium’s most publicly visible political scientists. He has been a columnist for almost two decades, consecutively in all of Belgium’s quality newspapers. He is also a regular invited speaker at international conferences and events and frequently consulted by international media. Sinardet is an advocate of democratic innovation and has been involved in different projects on participative and deliberative democracy.
