As artificial intelligence increasingly shapes political communication and voter engagement, it also raises legitimate concerns about manipulation, disinformation and bias.

This session, co-organised by PACE and CAI, explores how the Council of Europe’s Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence and ongoing PACE work and initiatives on democracy and human rights can help ensure that AI strengthens, rather than undermines, electoral integrity and public trust in democratic processes.
