On April 23, 2026, the project Advancing Local Governance and Civic Engagement through Institutional Reform in Albania – ALGORA organized the "Training Needs Assessment in Albania – Technical Policy Advice" workshop in Tirana.

The main session featured a presentation on the Training Needs Assessment process in Albania, followed by a Q&A session and an open discussion on the technical policy advice and next steps.

Participants from the Council of Europe and various Albanian institutions exchanged recommendations and explored innovative methods to improve training needs assessment for the public sector. The collaborative discussions focused on harnessing technology and stakeholder feedback to strengthen human resource management and accountability in local administration.

The event gathered experts and officials committed to reform, with thanks extended to all attendees for their valuable input and active engagement. Together, they reaffirmed their dedication to building a more responsive and effective public administration in Albania.
