International Roma Day was marked in the Municipality of Korçë. Promotion of the Roma history, language and traditions serve as instruments in the fight against antigypsyism and discrimination. Several events aimed at the intercultural exchange among local Roma and non-Roma citizens. An intercultural craft fair was open in the Municipality of Korçë during 7-8 April transforming the city centre into an inclusive meeting point. The flower casting ceremony took place on 8 April and the commemoration was concluded with a musical concert.

The activities were organised by the Municipality of Korçë in partnership with Women in Development, supported by the joint European Union and the Council of Europe ROMACTED II programme.
