A seminar held in Tirana with the High Inspector of Justice focused on the benefits, challenges and ethical considerations of advancing information technologies and artificial intelligence in the justice system in Albania. The event aimed to strengthen justice inspectors’ skills in integrating digital tools in their work.
Participants discussed and became more familiar with the growing role of information technology in courts and prosecution offices. They examined digitalization trends in European judicial systems and explored CEPEJ standards and tools for ethical use of artificial intelligence in justice.
The activity was organised in the framework of the action Strengthening the Efficiency and Quality of Justice in Albania, co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe under the Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Türkiye.
