A two-day online training on Specificities of Administrative Proceedings was conducted for the staff of Political Finances Monitoring and Legal Departments of the State Audit Office of Georgia on 30 June – 1 July.

During the online meeting, the Council of Europe expert introduced to the participants challenging aspects of the current legal framework. The expert analysed the existing practices of the court and underlined the importance of implementing GRECO recommendations on the transparency of political finances. The training aimed at improving the operation and efficiency of the State Audit Office in the context of the upcoming parliamentary elections.    

The event was organised in the framework of the Council of Europe Project “Supporting Transparency, Inclusiveness and Integrity of Electoral Practice and Process in Georgia”.
