Workshop on

Georgia’s final draft of the National anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing (AML/CFT) risk assessment report of Georgia (NRA Report) was discussed at a workshop on 18 October 2019 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The activity gathered all relevant state authorities and non-state institutions in charge of ensuring AML/CFT compliance in the county.

The workshop aimed to discuss the main findings and priority actions of the NRA report, areas of improvement as well as lessons learned from countries assessed under the relevant recommendations.

The activity was organized within the EU/CoE Partnership for Good Governance Project “Enhancing the systems of prevention and combating corruption, money laundering and terrorist financing in Georgia” (PGG II-GE), launched in January, 2019.
