Become the winner of the competition

“I Choose Equality” campaign announces a competition of slogans in Samtskhe-Javakheti within the framework of the activity “Express Equality”.

The competition aims at supporting and promoting equality and diversity by involving young people willing to share their views on the above-mentioned topics.

Would you like to express and share your opinion about equality and diversity in a creative way? Are you aged between 14 and 29 living in Samtskhe-Javakheti? Then take part in the slogan competition and submit your work:

  • The theme of the slogan should be on equality and diversity
  • The slogans should be positive and creative
  • Slogans should be in Georgian and should not exceed 5 words
  • Each contestant can submit a maximum of 2 slogans

Selection criteria

  • Relevance to the topic (40%)
  • Content (30%)
  • Creativity (30%)

Selection of the winner

Based on the submitted applications and defined criteria, the jury will identify 2 winners. The authors of the winning slogans will be awarded with certificates, and their slogans will be painted on the wall in Akhaltsikhe if desired by the authors themselves.

The deadline for submission of the slogan is April 30, 2021, 21:00. Applicants should fill in the application form: https://bit.ly/3wWQ4Me  Late applications will not be considered.

The competition is held within the initiative of the Council of Europe Ambassador for Equality in Samtskhe-Javakheti. Equality Ambassadors were selected in Tbilisi, Adjara, Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti as part of the I Choose Equality campaign run by the Council of Europe  and will contribute to promoting equality and diversity.

“I Choose Equality” campaign is run as part of the Council of Europe co-operation Project “Fight against Discrimination, Hate Crimes and Hate Speech in Georgia”. The project is implemented under the Council of Europe’s Action Plan for Georgia 2020-2023 with the support of the Danish Neighbourhood Programme in Georgia (DANEP).
