Dear visitor,

Thank you for visiting the website of the Council of Europe Office in Sarajevo. Here you will find information about the activities of our Office, as well as links to other information, news and documents relating to the Council of Europe’s work, such as conventions, reports, and recommendations of this Organisation and its various bodies. Bosnia and Herzegovina has been a member state of the Council of Europe since 2002 and is actively involved in all the aspects of the mission and work of our Organisation. Our Office in Sarajevo contributes to this partnership, by providing support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, its authorities, institutions and people to give practical meaning to the principles of human rights, democracy and the rule of law which are common to all 46 member states of the Council of Europe. I hope that you will find the information here thought-provoking and useful, and would welcome your feedback and suggestions which will be used to further improve our website. You can also follow the activities of our Office on Facebook and Twitter.
