In July 2016, the EDQM released the 9th Edition of the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.). Compared to the 8th Edition, more than half of the 9th Edition is new or revised, reflecting the latest developments in a truly globalised, dynamic and ever-changing pharmaceutical world.
