Justice Academy of Türkiye and Council of Europe partner for the development of an e-library for judges and prosecutors

Access to reliable legal research on human rights and the rule of law can prove challenging for Turkish judges and prosecutors, who may lose precious time in finding relevant, specialised information in their mother tongue.

To facilitate their work, the Justice of Academy of Türkiye and the Council of Europe announced that they will be joining hands to establish an e-library for judges and prosecutors.

Using advanced search engines, the new platform will provide quick access to a range of legal resources, including specialised databases, targeted publications, case law digests, and other tools jointly developed by the Council of Europe, Turkish institutions, and academics over the years.

The initiative takes place under the EU/CoE Joint Project “Strengthening the Criminal Justice System and the Capacity of Justice Professionals on Prevention of the European Convention on Human Rights Violations.”
