Back Preventing gender violence in kindergarten

This training resource is aimed at showing kindergarten teacher trainers how gender stereotypes are reflected in the everyday life of both sexes and how it can imply gender violence at different levels. Featured activities assist teachers in raising their awareness of daily gender violence in society, with a critical understanding of their own perception of gender violence.

The training resource also equips participants with new tools in sexual education in terms of preventing violence and possible ways of adapting these tools to education in kindergartens. Additionally, it helps to improve awareness of the rights of children and the needs for their protection, as well as promoting communication on the topic of sexuality within families and the school environment.

Therefore, this resource is designed for kindergarten teachers and contains the activities such as peer work, group work and open space debate.
