Back What are the Web 2.0 opportunities for teaching?

This resource is dedicated to teachers who are new to Web 2.0 services as tools for teaching. As such it offers information on the use of new media and online production activities, interlinking these with human rights. The guided activities enable participants to understand the new media environment, recognise the educational benefits of social networking and reflect on the ways they can utilise these tools in their everyday practice.

As technological tools are extremely versatile, depending on how they are used and for what purposes, the resource enables participants to critically judge the available tools in order to promote a positive attitude towards the opportunities that such tools offer when used appropriately. This training unit has been developed within the Pestalozzi Programme.
